The Portugal Golden Visa (ARI — Autorização de Residência para Investimento) still exists in 2026, but real estate investment routes were eliminated in 2023. The remaining routes are:

- Company investment: minimum €500,000 creating 5+ jobs
- Cultural/artistic investment: minimum €250,000
- Scientific research: minimum €500,000
